These sprouts are one of the easiest sprouts to grow, but that doesn’t mean they’re not powerful. Peas sprouts are a fantastic source of plant-based protein—packing all 9 essential amino acids and even more protein than steak! Try young pea sprouts lightly steamed, or grow them out to enjoy the tender pea shoots.

How To Grow

1Pour 4-6 Tbsp of sprouting seeds into your sprouting bag or jar + soak them in water at room temp for 6-8 hours.

2Once soaked, drain water. (Hang bag or tilt jar to ensure complete drainage.)

3Give your seeds a quick but thorough rinse 2x daily. Drain in between.

That’s it! In 3-5 days, you’re ready to harvest! Pop a handful into your mouth + store the rest in the fridge.

love pea sprouts

i realize that the peas take a little longer to sprout, unlike the, say, alfalfa, but they are really worth it. i get two cuttings before i have to start a new batch. i think pea and sunflower are my favorite. the percentage of sprouting on the pea and sunflower are almost 100%.

My favorite

The pea sprouts are delicious, crunchy and fast growing. And I grow them in a jar on my kitchen table.

These are great! I recommend. sometimes I mix peas with lentils and mung beans in the same sprouting jar.

They sprout fast. Tasty in any soup, stew or chili.
Can I eat them raw? Added the green tops to the salad mix, it was good.
