Organic Garlic Chive Sprouting Seed

$16.99

Yes, you can sprout garlic chives! And they are spectacular—if we do say so ourselves.

While this sprout requires a little more care, it’s worth the effort. With a milder flavor than whole raw garlic cloves, garlic chive sprouts are the perfect way to reap many of the benefits of its garlicky cousin, without the… pungency.

Note: this is more challenging to sprout than most of our seeds. If you’re new to sprouting, we recommend starting with something like our Starter Kit.

      How To Grow

1Pour 1-2 Tbsp of sprouting seeds into your sprouting bag or jar + soak them in water at room temp for 4-6 hours.

2Once soaked, drain water. (Hang bag or tilt jar to ensure complete drainage.)

3Give your seeds a quick but thorough rinse 2x daily. Drain in between.

That’s it! In 10-14 days, you’re ready to harvest (maybe earlier if you enjoy the flavor and texture, do a taste test around day 7!). Pop a handful into your mouth + store the rest in the fridge.

*Note: These seeds are more temperature sensitive than other varieties. Store your bag of unused seeds in the fridge or freezer until you’re ready to use.

      Garlic Chive Sprouts

Overall these were spicy and fun to add to a rotation of sprouts. Minor drawbacks in first use were- only about 60-70% yield from the sprouts (which usually SproutMan seeds are nearly a 100) and
The seed shell is a bit hard to chew.
Also just to note there is a longer growing period thsn most of the other sprouts, so have patience.....
Other than thst the whole fam had fun with these!

      So fragant

Very excited about this seeds I grew mine in a sprouting jar and it was so exciting to see them grow I could smell the garlic/chives aroma after few days. Two tablespoon produced a lot of sprouts so I chopped mine very finely and mixed them with salted organic butter so that I can use it in different ways. Delish
