FAQs
Our sprouting lids are 100% stainless steel.
This lid will fit any wide-mouth Mason or Ball jar you have at home.
STEP 1: Pour 2-6 Tbsp of sprouting seeds (depending on the variety and jar size) into a wide-mouth Mason/Ball jar + soak them in water at room temp for around 6-8 hours.
STEP 2: Once soaked, make sure the sprouting lid is attached and drain the water. Tilt jar in a bowl or on a dish rack to ensure complete drainage.
STEP 3: Give your seeds a quick but thorough rinse 2x daily. Make sure to tilt the jar in between waterings to promote good airflow and drainage.
That’s it! Within a week, you’re ready to harvest! Pop a handful into your mouth + store the whole jar in the fridge.
After harvesting, hand clean the mesh lid with a stiff brush, hot water, and mild soap. Occasionally, you can run your lid through the dishwasher (on the top rack only) for a deep clean.
So happy with these! What a difference it makes in ease of sprouting! Love them.
That's all I can say. Love them. Beats cheesecloth anyway. Thanks
The stainless steel screens and rims for a wide my canning jar fit perfectly and work so well. The mesh is fine enough that the small seeds do not flow through when rinsing. Well worth the purchase.
I have been using the bags for sprouting with great success but added wide mouth jars too.
They are fun to watch sprout, very easy to rinse and provide a bountiful grow.
Happy Sprouting here in California 😊
