I tried out Sproutman for my broccoli sprouts and boy I’m glad I did. I’d been using organic sprouting seeds from another source, one I found on Amazon. I’m new to the sprouting thing, so I decided to test a “premium” seed against my Amazon seeds. I did two jars side-by-side, all things being equal other than the seeds. I used 20 grams of seeds (which is a little under 2 tablespoons.) The Amazon seeds made 120 grams of sprouts, while the Sproutman seeds made 197 grams of sprouts! The cost of the Sproutman seeds (including shipping) for a pound of seeds was only 13% more than the Amazon seeds. So for those of you doing the math, carry the one, that’s 61% more sprouts (check me, my gifts lie in other areas. But I do know the answer to the equation is “lots more”). In summary, 61% more sprouts for 13% more cost = a better value (and the sprouts themselves are just nicer overall, fresh and crunchy, and way fewer hulls and unsprouted seeds to contend with.)
